Adaptable

I know—and greatly appreciate—that everyone is different. As a writer, I can be an independent worker. You can trust me to interview, write, edit, and tweak things as needed. And of course, from start to finish, I’ll communicate throughly and ask questions as needed. But if you’re somebody who likes to be there every step of the way, I’ll happily take you right along with me.

In my eyes, being a writer is one of the most human occupations out there. I live and work to make meaningful connections through interviewing and writing, whether it’s a personal profile about a lifelong banker or a more persuasive, client-focused piece about benefits they offer. I’m not one to be fluffy with my writing, but I take an earnest, warm approach, to connect with interviewees and readers alike.

Thorough

I always aim to write in a way that conveys honesty, integrity, and thorough insight into whatever topic I’m writing about. To achieve that, you need to do your research. For me, that entails: finding and reading content from thought leaders of the industry; attending webinars that may have relevant insights; connecting with and interviewing subject matter experts; and double checking everything through multiple reliable (and relevant) sources. By doing so, I can ensure the article produced is kept up to the highest standard necessary.

  • My work style centers around one truth: I love what I do. Whenever I approach a new task or project, I do so with intrigue and vigor. This tenacity shows up in my ability to keep digging into tough subjects, ideate and produce top-notch content, and get the job done successfully and on time.

  • Much of my portfolio and experience revolves around financial topics, but I have also produced health- and tech-focused content for clients such as Miracle-Ear, Renew magazine (from UnitedHealthcare) and 3M.

    I am more than willing to put in the work to build up expertise for topics outside my usual wheelhouse.
